Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman is looking to land body kicks.
Yeerum closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Freeman to the mat! Freeman manages to get full guard.
Yeerum in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Yeerum throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Yeerum drops back, looking for a kneebar! Freeman looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Freeman looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Freeman!
Yeerum is looking for a sweep.
Yeerum throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Yeerum tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Freeman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Freeman lands a decent elbow from side control.

Freeman moves into full mount! Yeerum won't be happy about that!
Yeerum throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Freeman looking for a guillotine from mount but Yeerum is having none of it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Freeman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Freeman has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Yeerum defend it? Freeman steps over the head and cranks it - Yeerum is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Freeman!
