Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Park Heski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Jason Reso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Park Heski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Christopher Jason Reso! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heski darts in and clinches Jason Reso up against the cage. Heski has had enough of the clinch but Jason Reso keeps him there for the moment. Jason Reso prevents Heski from breaking the clinch. Heski is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Heski tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jason Reso smiles and moves away.
Jason Reso tries to clinch up and Heski counters with a left and a right that stings Jason Reso. Jason Reso goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Park Heski has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jason Reso throws an overhand right that lands on Heski's shoulder, as Heski tries to avoid the shot. No luck with that takedown attempt from Heski. Heski misses with a jab, cross combination.
Heski moves into range and clinches up with Jason Reso. Heski wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jason Reso has him pressed against the cage. Jason Reso tries to pull guard but Heski holds him up against the cage and eventually Jason Reso drops back down to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Heski gets control of Jason Reso's arms and successfully pulls guard. Heski will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Heski wants to stand up but Jason Reso is controlling him. Heski keeping moving, preventing Jason Reso from controlling successfully. Heski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jason Reso on the ground. Jason Reso tries to stand but Heski is controlling from the bottom. Jason Reso preventing the sweep. Heski is controlling Jason Reso's posture. Heski has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Jason Reso won't allow Heski to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jason Reso pushes down on Heski's leg and manages to get into half guard. Heski could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jason Reso is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Heski is squirming around, avoiding Jason Reso's attempts to control the action. Heski holds of for dear life. Jason Reso looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Heski is trying to stand up. Heski working to try and regain half guard.
Jason Reso throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Heski because Jason Reso loaded up on that one. Jason Reso wants to control the pace but Heski is squirming around nicely. Heski tries to reverse the position but Jason Reso maintains control. Jason Reso looking to finish with strikes here!

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Heski tries to hold on but Jason Reso postures up. Heski working to try and regain half guard.
Heski bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Heski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Heski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jason Reso swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jason Reso is working an open guard so Heski takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Heski instigates a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Heski forces Jason Reso back against the cage and clinches. Heski pulls guard. Jason Reso wants to stand but Heski has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Jason Reso advances position into side control! Heski is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jason Reso has just dragged him back down to the mat. Heski prevents Jason Reso from improving position. Heski trying his best to control but Jason Reso has mounted him. Heski holds of for dear life. Jason Reso is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jason Reso gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Jason Reso fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Heski avoids it really well and circles away. Heski lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Heski. Heski fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jason Reso, pushing him back against the cage. Heski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Heski rushes Jason Reso and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Heski working hard to break the clinch. Heski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Heski shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jason Reso is trying to defend but Heski finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Heski tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jason Reso knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Jason Reso avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Heski. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Heski in particular looking to stall. Heski seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jason Reso for as long as he can get away with. Heski is looking to advance position but Jason Reso won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Heski is working hard here to advance position. Heski perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Heski thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Heski is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jason Reso! Heski scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Heski cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Heski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Heski unloads with some shots from mount but Jason Reso bucks and avoids them well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Heski controlling from mount. Heski looking to finish Jason Reso with some ground and pound. This is bad for Jason Reso! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Park Heski dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Park Heski's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Heski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nice sprawl there from Heski as Jason Reso shoots in. Jason Reso lands with a slapping head kick. Heski takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Heski has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jason Reso uses from the top position. Heski looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Jason Reso prevents Heski from getting back to his feet. Heski lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jason Reso! Jason Reso takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Heski landing punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Heski connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Park Heski just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Heski works Jason Reso's body with a nice hook. Heski drives through and clinches with Jason Reso against the cage.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Heski. Heski pulls guard. Heski looking for a sweep. Not yet Heski, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Heski wants to stand but Jason Reso is controlling the position. Heski has his feet on Jason Reso's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Heski moves into range and clinches up with Jason Reso. Heski pushes Jason Reso back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Heski pulls guard. Heski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jason Reso's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Heski would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Heski decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
And that's the end of the fight! Park Heski showed his dominance in that final round. Well Heski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
