Peterson comes into the arena with Diamond blaring out of the sound system. McGuire is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jump Around. The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
McGuire slips under a jab.
McGuire sizes up Peterson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Peterson throws a good cross that connects.
McGuire's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and McGuire duly obliges.
It looks like Victor Peterson has been cut.
Peterson checks a leg kick nicely.
Peterson misses with a hook. McGuire ducked under it nicely.
Peterson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McGuire moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Peterson misses with an uppercut. McGuire saw that one coming.
McGuire slips under a jab from Peterson.
Peterson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
McGuire misses with a double jab
and Peterson counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Peterson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McGuire but McGuire pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Peterson throws a shot from downtown. McGuire moves away and avoids it.
Peterson throws out a loose jab but McGuire uses good head movement to avoid it.
McGuire ducks under a wild hook from Peterson.
McGuire takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Jake McGuire has been cut.
Peterson throws a body kick that misses.
Peterson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
McGuire is letting Peterson control him for a moment.
Peterson is trying to get an arm triangle but McGuire is defending well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
