The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hari misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No luck for Ocha with that takedown attempt. Hari fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ocha avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ocha decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Ocha wants to free his trapped foot but Hari is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hari tries to kick Ocha off but Ocha keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ocha passes to side control. Ocha advances to mount. Ocha is working for a guillotine from mount but Hari frees his head quite easily.
Ocha is looking to work his way around to Hari's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ocha is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hari has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Hari stops Ocha from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Ocha is going olschool here, as he tries to force Hari to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hari shrugs it off. Ocha has hold of Hari's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hari manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ocha looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Ocha looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hari is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Ocha looking for a guillotine from mount but Hari is having none of it. Ocha is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hari is surviving well by controlling Ocha's body position as best he can. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hari trying desperately to get to his feet.
Ocha goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hari is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ocha has a closed guard, preventing Hari from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ocha has his hands on Hari's head, controlling the position. Ocha lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hari! Ocha moves to take his opponent's back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hari trying to get back to his feet but Ocha is in full control for now. Ocha is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Hari won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Ocha off his unconscious opponent!
