The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bridges moves away from the strike by Smith.
Zane Bridges seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Bridges.
Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some wild striking there from Bridges.
Smith has a takedown stuffed.

Smith looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Smith controls Bridges momentarily but Bridges frees himself.
Smith wants to improve his position but instead Bridges has moved into half guard.

Bridges scores with a one two! Smith had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Smith shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bridges is trying to defend but Smith finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Bridges is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Smith goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bridges turns into him and now he's in Smith's guard.

Smith escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bridges gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bridges wanted to stand there but Smith had control of the position.

Smith has his feet on Bridges's thighs here. He's pushed Bridges off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bridges screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
