0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Remus Jacobs! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacobs goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Jacobs lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Jacobs lands a big head kick that sends Pilkington tumbling to the mat! Jacobs takes a step backwards and waves Pilkington back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Pilkington is rocked!
It looks like Karl Pilkington has been cut. Pilkington misses with a wild combination.
Oh Pilkington is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Pilkington throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jacobs. Jacobs is looking to slow Pilkington down with leg kicks. Pilkington seems to have got his legs back now. Jacobs is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pilkington throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Danga de danga de dang - Jacobs scores with a four punch combination! Pilkington lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Remus Jacobs has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pilkington tries to clinch there but Jacobs circles away.
Jacobs works over Pilkington's head and body with a nice combination. Jacobs connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Jacobs gets a clinch. Jacobs is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Pilkington breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pilkington throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Pilkington is breathing heavily. Jacobs looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobs tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Pilkington looks to land a combination. Jacobs sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Jacobs drives through and clinches with Pilkington against the cage.
Jacobs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jacobs looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jacobs swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pilkington throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jacobs counters with a head kick that drops Pilkington to the mat! Pilkington scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Jacobs feints a jab and as Pilkington dips his head, Jacobs unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Pilkington right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Pilkington falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Jacobs smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
