Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Markus Dublin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bishop has chosen Skatalites - James Bond as his entrance music. Markus Dublin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Markus Dublin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Larry Bishop! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bishop lands a left and a right that send Dublin crashing to the mat, dazed. Bishop thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Markus Dublin has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dublin tries to clinch there but Bishop circles away.
Dublin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bishop defends it nicely. Bishop tries to close the distance and clinch but Dublin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dublin darts in trying to clinch and Bishop counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bishop landing some decent shots from guard. Bishop really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dublin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bishop postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Bishop stands up and waves to Dublin to follow him. Dublin swats away the attempt to clinch by Bishop. Bishop looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dublin!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Dublin tries to hold on but Bishop pushes him away. Bishop takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Dublin gets back to half guard. Bishop is looking to stall here but Dublin recovers full guard. Dublin has his foot on Bishop's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bishop works his way back into a safe position though. Dublin is breathing heavily. Bishop wants to pass the guard but Dublin is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bishop throwing strikes but missing. Dublin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bishop wants to get up but he can't break Dublin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bishop is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bishop throwing strikes from guard but Dublin blocks nicely. Bishop avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bishop must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dublin being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bishop jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bishop is looking to work some ground and pound but Dublin has wrist control. Dublin keeping moving, preventing Bishop from controlling successfully. Bishop slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dublin looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Bishop trying to control the position from guard on top but Dublin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dublin is working an open guard so Bishop takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Bishop connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Dublin momentarily.
Bishop darts in and clinches Dublin up against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nice body punch from Bishop. A short body shot lands from Bishop as the two fighters clinch.
Bishop has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dublin uses from the top position. Bishop wants to stand up but Dublin is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bishop goes for a takedown attempt but Dublin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dublin misses with a takedown and Bishop counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dublin is looking to improve his position.
Bishop tries to stand but can't do so whilst Dublin controls his leg. Bishop is trying to control the action in half guard but Dublin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bishop looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Dublin wants to control but Bishop is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bishop trying to control from half guard but Dublin is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dublin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Bishop wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dublin keeps working.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dublin looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bishop! Bishop is trying desperately to improve position. Bishop sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Bishop is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dublin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dublin's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bishop is landing with strikes from the back. Bishop lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Dublin is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bishop gets his way!
Bishop lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Dublin is taking damage to the body and head. Bishop is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Dublin. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Bishop controls the action. Dublin is keeping busy.

Bishop lands punches and elbows. Dublin tries to escape but Bishop has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Dublin wants to get back to his feet. What can Dublin do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bishop lands strikes to the head. Dublin tries to break free.
Bishop is not going to allow Dublin to sit and survive in this position. Dublin covers up after that shot from Bishop.

Bishop bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dublin tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bishop has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bishop thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Dublin manages to get back to half guard. Bishop trying to control from half guard but Dublin is working away. Bishop decides to stand up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bishop scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Bishop has Dublin up against the cage in a clinch.

Bishop pulls guard. Bishop tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dublin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bishop is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dublin, into his guard. Dublin keeping moving, preventing Bishop from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bishop stands up from guard. Let's bang! Dublin closes the distance looking to clinch and Bishop holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Bishop slows down the pace here.
Bishop jumps guard and drags Dublin to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Bishop looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dublin is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bishop is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dublin tries to stand but Bishop is controlling from the bottom. Bishop wants to sweep here but Dublin controlling him for the moment. Bishop has Dublin pulled in close to control his posture. Bishop manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dublin tries to lock up and control but Bishop gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bishop in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Dublin is in a horrible position here. Bishop smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Dublin tries to hold on but Bishop pushes him away. Bishop working away from the top, dropping strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bishop jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dublin manages to avoid the submission attempt. Markus Dublin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Larry Bishop is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bishop staying calm.
And that's the end of the fight! Larry Bishop comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bishop has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
