Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreas Webster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson comes to the cage accompanied by "Sandstorm" - Darude. Andreas Webster will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tommy Henderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andreas Webster! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Webster will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Webster lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Nice sprawl there from Webster as Henderson shoots in. Webster misses with the combination.
No luck for Henderson with that takedown attempt. Webster throws a shot to the body.
Henderson misses the shot to the body. Webster shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Henderson but Henderson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Henderson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Webster throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Henderson's waist but Henderson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Webster off to one side. Tommy Henderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andreas Webster. Webster throws a right and a left that Henderson avoids nicely. Henderson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Webster defends it nicely. Henderson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Webster swivels and escapes. Webster scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
That's one minute gone in the round. Henderson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Webster pivots, looking for a leg kick but Henderson is out of range and Webster settles back down. Webster throws a series of punches but Henderson avoids them all with ease. Left hook, right uppercut from Webster. Webster works over Henderson's head and body with a nice combination. Henderson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Webster sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Webster doesn't manage to clinch there - Henderson circles away.
Henderson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Webster.
Henderson is rocked! Webster shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Henderson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Henderson is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Henderson throwing shots but Webster is blocking nicely. Webster is trying to control but can't.
Henderson wants to work for an arm triangle but Webster is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Webster is trying to stand up here but Henderson is controlling him well. Webster avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Henderson. Webster is trying to stand back up but Henderson is controlling him
Henderson is working for a kimura but Webster is defending it quite comfortably.
Henderson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Webster lands a glancing blow to the side of Henderson's head. Henderson misses with a head kick.
Webster fails in his attempt to clinch. Webster throws a combination. Henderson tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Webster tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Henderson swivels and escapes. Some wild striking there from Webster.
Webster shoots in and drives through. Henderson sprawls well. Webster fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Henderson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Webster but Webster pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Webster fails to land with a series of punches.
Webster closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Webster lands in his opponent's guard. Henderson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Webster gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Webster drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Webster jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Henderson is looking for a triangle but Webster pushes his legs off easily.
Webster stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Henderson swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andreas Webster dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Webster fails to land the takedown. Henderson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Webster connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Webster throws a series of punches but Henderson moves out of range. Henderson slaps away a takedown attempt from Webster, before circling back to the center of the mat. Webster swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice sprawl there from Webster as Henderson shoots in. Webster misses with a low kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Henderson drops his hands momentarily and Webster takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Henderson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Webster sprawls well. Webster wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Henderson gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Henderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Henderson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Webster is fending him off so far but Henderson persists. Nope, Webster circles away and we're back to standing. Andreas Webster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Webster trying to control the position from guard on top but Henderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Webster wants to stand but Henderson is controlling his posture from full guard. Webster trying to control but Henderson is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Webster thuds a left hand into Henderson's body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Webster lands with a nice body punch. Henderson keeps the fight on the outside. Webster fails with an attempt to clinch.
Webster sizes up Henderson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Henderson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Webster fails with a takedown attempt. Webster scores with the left hand. Henderson knows he should have avoided that one. Webster moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Webster tries to close the distance and clinch but Henderson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Webster fails to land with a series of punches.

A close second round but Andreas Webster will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Henderson with a poor takedown and Webster counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Henderson thinking. Henderson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Webster. Webster tries for a takedown but Henderson circles away easily and Henderson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Henderson wants to advance to full mount but Webster doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Henderson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Webster looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Webster looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Webster! Tommy Henderson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Henderson is looking for a sweep. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Webster tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Webster tries to advance to mount but can't. Webster tries to stand but Henderson controls the position and pulls Webster into his guard. Henderson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Henderson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Henderson misses with a head shot. Webster uses the momentum to regain guard. Webster scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Henderson or perhaps it was just good defense by Webster which made him look bad. Webster throws a right and a left that both miss. Webster fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Henderson on the side of the head. Henderson shoots in but Webster avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Henderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good work by Henderson as he checks the leg kick. Webster lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Henderson tries to score a body lock takedown but Webster shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Webster has had enough of the clinch but Henderson keeps him there for the moment. Webster fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Henderson prevents Webster from getting back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tommy Henderson. I think Webster has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
