Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muhamad Alli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Randleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randleman has chosen UNBREAKABLE as his entrance music. Muhamad Alli has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Muhamad Alli! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kevin Randleman! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Randleman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alli is looking for a sweep. Alli gets back to half guard. Alli slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Alli has his foot on Randleman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Randleman works his way back into a safe position though. Alli keeping full guard, as Randleman tries to pass. Randleman landing with the ground and pound. Randleman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alli has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Randleman has managed to get both his arms back between Alli's legs - danger averted. Alli working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Randleman. Alli won't let Randleman get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Alli throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Alli thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Randleman tries to hold on but Alli postures up. Alli will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Alli working away from the top, dropping strikes. Alli is going olschool here, as he tries to force Randleman to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Randleman shrugs it off. Alli throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Randleman because Alli loaded up on that one. Randleman wants to get back to his feet.
Randleman is looking to get to half guard. Alli unloads with some shots from mount but Randleman bucks and avoids them well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alli has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Randleman is trying to stand up. Alli throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Randleman is desperately trying to improve his position but Alli has a good base and remains in mount. Alli swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Randleman is now in Alli's guard. A big mistake from Alli there, giving up the dominant position! Alli looking to hit a scissor sweep but Randleman is one step ahead there. Alli is breathing heavily. Alli not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Alli lands a decent punch to the body there. Randleman is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Alli bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Randleman's guard. Randleman wants to stand up but Alli is controlling him. Alli trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Randleman can do anything to dispel that myth. Alli is looking to work some ground and pound but Randleman has wrist control. Randleman preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Alli stopping the sweep attempt from Randleman. Alli prevents Randleman from getting back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Muhamad Alli dominated that round. That's time! Alli's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Alli connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Alli throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Alli shoots and misses and Randleman counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Alli drives through and clinches with Randleman against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Alli just misses with a elbow thrown towards Randleman's brow. Randleman has Alli pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Alli manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Alli can't find room to land a body shot as Randleman controls the action.
Alli breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Alli is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Randleman. Alli tries to clinch up but Randleman circles away and keeps his distance. Alli takes a body punch but keeps moving. Randleman avoids a kick to the body.
Alli throws a body kick the misses and Randleman counters with a lovely straight right hand! Alli defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Randleman. Alli throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alli circles away from the clinch attempt.

Randleman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Alli is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Randleman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Randleman's back! Alli is cranking Randleman's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Randleman! He's tightened the choke and Randleman is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Muhamad Alli!
