Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dodd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Rawkus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Dodd has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Dodd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Rawkus!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rawkus fails in his attempt to clinch.

Dodd closes the distance and clinches up with Rawkus, looking for a takedown. Dodd pushes Rawkus against the cage but Rawkus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rawkus is pushing Dodd up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Rawkus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dodd manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Dodd counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Rawkus is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dodd, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
