Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Arlovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davids has chosen Wu-Tang Clan - Bring Da Ruckus as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mirko Arlovic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrone Davids! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Davids!
Davids clinches. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Davids. Arlovic tries to pull guard but Davids won't allow it.
Davids looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Davids is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Arlovic pulls him back up using the underhooks. Davids has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Arlovic is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Davids is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Mirko Arlovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyrone Davids. Davids is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Davids has clasped his hands together around Arlovic's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Davids tries for a kimura but Arlovic is defending well. Davids looks gassed! Arlovic manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Davids missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Arlovic gets full guard. Davids won't allow Arlovic to sweep him here.

Arlovic has his foot on Davids's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davids works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Arlovic pulls Davids in close to prevent any damage.
Arlovic is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Arlovic wants to stand and escape but Davids is having none of it. Davids lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Davids postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Arlovic is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Davids throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Davids landing some decent shots from guard. Davids throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Arlovic works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Davids makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Arlovic really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Arlovic is trying to keep Davids in close.

Davids shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Davids throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Arlovic has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Davids is working away from the top position though. Davids looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Davids seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Davids thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Arlovic to regain full guard. Arlovic controls Davids momentarily but Davids frees himself. Davids looking to sit in guard and control but Arlovic gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Tyrone Davids dominated that round. That's time! Arlovic's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Arlovic looks to land a combination. Davids sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Davids jabbing away but nothing is landing. Arlovic misses with a takedown attempt
and Davids counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Davids. Davids throws a knee to the head but misses.
Davids goes for a takedown attempt but Arlovic pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Arlovic wants to clinch
and Davids counters with a single leg into guard. Arlovic didn't expect that. Davids is stalling in the full guard.
Davids avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Davids passes Arlovic's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Arlovic looking for submissions off his back. Davids seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Davids seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Davids is keen to just control but Arlovic is a slippery customer.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Davids seems to be working for a kimura but Arlovic defends the submission attempt. Davids throwing shots but Arlovic is blocking nicely. Arlovic has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Davids is working away from the top position though. Arlovic keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Davids slips a nice elbow through Arlovic's hands, connecting with Arlovic's forehead. Arlovic is looking to escape.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Davids trying to control the position from guard on top but Arlovic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Davids lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Davids trying to control but Arlovic is working from the bottom.

and Davids counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Arlovic looking for a sweep. Not yet Arlovic, not yet. Arlovic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Davids looking to pass the guard. Davids is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Arlovic is pulling down on Davids's head to control his posture. Arlovic controls Davids momentarily but Davids frees himself. Davids trying to control the position from guard on top but Arlovic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Davids stands up from guard. Let's bang! And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyrone Davids showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Mirko Arlovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Arlovic swats away the attempt to clinch by Davids. Davids throws a leg kick but Arlovic sees it coming and checks it nicely. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Arlovic tries for a takedown but Davids circles away easily

Davids lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Arlovic is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Davids scores with a couple of nice shots. Davids seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Davids wants to lay and pray for a moment but Arlovic keeps working. Tyrone Davids is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Davids gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Mirko Arlovic is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Davids rushes Arlovic and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Davids tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Davids drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Arlovic gets the underhooks and prevents it.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Davids lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Arlovic backwards. Davids drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Davids wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Arlovic wants to break the clinch but can't.

Arlovic is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Davids drops down looking for an ankle pick but Arlovic pulls his leg out and moves away.

And that's the end of the fight! Tyrone Davids comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Davids has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
