Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Veli Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Klaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Sebastian Klaus enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Veli Schwarzeneg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sebastian Klaus! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schwarzeneg displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Klaus. Nice takedown defense from Schwarzeneg. No joy for Klaus on that attempt. Schwarzeneg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Klaus pinned against the cage. Klaus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Schwarzeneg gets a takedown into half guard. Schwarzeneg seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Schwarzeneg moves nicely into side control. Schwarzeneg decides to stand back up. Schwarzeneg steps back and let's Klaus get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schwarzeneg closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Schwarzeneg sitting and controlling from the half guard. Klaus is not content to let Schwarzeneg control the position. Schwarzeneg not landing any meaningful shots this time. Schwarzeneg is trying to control the action in half guard but Klaus is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Klaus is trying to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schwarzeneg decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Klaus with a poor takedown and Schwarzeneg counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Klaus's guard now. Veli Schwarzeneg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sebastian Klaus. Klaus looks gassed! Schwarzeneg with a flurry of punches that miss. Schwarzeneg content to stall in guard here. Klaus keeping moving, preventing Schwarzeneg from controlling successfully. Schwarzeneg prevents Klaus from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schwarzeneg trying to control the position from guard on top but Klaus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Schwarzeneg stands up from guard. Let's bang! The fight moves into the clinch position. Schwarzeneg working Klaus over with knees to the body. Schwarzeneg gets a trip takedown into half guard. Schwarzeneg sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Klaus defending well though. Schwarzeneg throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schwarzeneg takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Schwarzeneg stands up and beckons Klaus to join him on the feet. Schwarzeneg has taken the fight to the clinch.
Schwarzeneg manages to pull guard.
Schwarzeneg is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. This has been an exciting period of action! Schwarzeneg lands a damaging elbow. Schwarzeneg jumps into guard, dragging Klaus to the mat.
Schwarzeneg kicks Klaus off and gets to his feet. Klaus misses with a takedown and Schwarzeneg counters with a nice double leg into side control. Klaus won't be happy with that. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schwarzeneg is putting a hurting on Klaus here, landing some big shots from side control. Schwarzeneg throws a strike aimed at the side of Klaus's head but Klaus avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Veli Schwarzeneg dominated that round. That's time! Schwarzeneg's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Schwarzeneg closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Klaus drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Schwarzeneg goes for a takedown attempt but Klaus pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Schwarzeneg circles away from the clinch attempt and Schwarzeneg counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Klaus! Schwarzeneg sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Schwarzeneg wants to control the pace but Klaus is squirming around nicely. Schwarzeneg working for a guillotine from mount but Klaus is in no mood to give up. Schwarzeneg throwing strikes here but Klaus is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schwarzeneg throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Schwarzeneg sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Klaus is desperately trying to improve his position but Schwarzeneg has a good base and remains in mount. Schwarzeneg lands a big shot there that rocks Klaus but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Schwarzeneg throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Schwarzeneg has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Klaus blocking the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Schwarzeneg lands a heavy elbow. Schwarzeneg throws some wild stikes that Klaus manages to avoid easily.
Klaus is in a horrible position here. Schwarzeneg smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Schwarzeneg working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Schwarzeneg postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Klaus looks a forlorn figure.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schwarzeneg lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The referee warns Klaus that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Schwarzeneg tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Schwarzeneg thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Klaus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schwarzeneg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schwarzeneg looking to isolate an arm here. Klaus doesn't see it coming and as Schwarzeneg extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Schwarzeneg!
