Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Baringer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matthew Davis!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baringer rushes Davis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Baringer tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Baringer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Baringer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Davis misses with a wild combination.
Davis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baringer tries to avoid it but Davis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baringer to the ground. Baringer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Baringer, right into the meat.
Davis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Baringer circles away quickly and effectively.
Baringer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Baringer stops Davis from standing up.
Baringer trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Davis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baringer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baringer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Davis is on top in guard.

Baringer is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Davis won't allow Baringer to sweep him here.
Davis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Baringer keeping moving, preventing Davis from controlling successfully.
Davis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Baringer to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Davis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Baringer pulls down on the head and he's put Davis to sleep! This one is all over!
