The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Francisco Juarez has been cut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Juarez darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Wally Wechsel has been cut.
A solid body kick from Wechsel.
Wechsel scores with a head kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A clash of legs there as Wechsel blocks the low kick.

Juarez gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Juarez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wally Wechsel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wechsel fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Juarez on the side of the head.

Juarez lands a high kick!
Wechsel showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Juarez.
Juarez cracks Wechsel on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Wechsel falls backwards against the cage. Juarez follows up with more strikes that drop Wechsel to his knees. Juarez keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Wechsel! This one is all over!
