Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diego Albuquerque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giovanni Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giovanni Emelianenko has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Diego Albuquerque's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko leaves Albuquerque with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Emelianenko looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The fight stays on the outside here - Albuquerque looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Albuquerque tries to score a power double leg takedown but Emelianenko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Albuquerque somewhat.
