The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith moves out of range of the strikes.
Smith scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Smith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has schuab pinned against the cage. schuab gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like Harry Smith has been cut.

Harry Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
schuab throws a big shot that misses.
Smith uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from schuab.

schuab misses with a straight left.
Smith dives in and grabs schuab's left leg, looking for a takedown. schuab pushes down on Smith's head and hops out.
schuab drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Smith's head, knocking him out cold! schuab is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
