Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kristian Andreassen!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Separatto.
Andreassen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Separatto goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


It looks like Kristian Andreassen has been cut.

Andreassen instigates a clinch.
Andreassen keeps control of Separatto as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Separatto blocks an elbow strike.
Separatto tries to break free but Andreassen pushes him back against the cage.
Separatto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Separatto's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Andreassen thows a left - swing and a miss!
Separatto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Separatto is breathing heavily.
Andreassen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Andreassen feints and as Separatto raises his hands in defense, Andreassen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Andreassen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Separatto swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Andreassen drops back looking for a leg! Separatto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Separatto manages to kick Andreassen off! Andreassen jumps back into Separatto's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Donald Separatto will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Andreassen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Andreassen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Andreassen in particular looking to stall.
Separatto has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Andreassen is working away from the top position though.

Separatto is defending against the submission attempts here by Andreassen.

Andreassen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Separatto regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Andreassen.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Andreassen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Separatto manages to get himself to full guard.

Andreassen is looking for a triangle here but Separatto uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Andreassen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Separatto's guard.

Andreassen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Separatto manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Andreassen has Separatto in his guard.

Andreassen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Separatto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Andreassen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Separatto!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Separatto tries to reverse the position but Andreassen maintains control.
Andreassen trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Andreassen jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Separatto is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Separatto and Andreassen has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Separatto regains half guard.
Separatto is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Separatto is trying to stand up here but Andreassen is controlling him well.
Andreassen frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Separatto is desperately trying to improve his position but Andreassen has a good base and remains in mount.

Andreassen looking to secure an arm triangle but Separatto defends it well.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kristian Andreassen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Andreassen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
