Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brain Lane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rual Ferdinand! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferdinand is looking to slow Lane down with leg kicks. Lane looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Lane shoots for a takedown but Ferdinand saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Lane shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ferdinand moves in looking to clinch but Lane pushes him off. Ferdinand has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ferdinand is pushing Lane up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Ferdinand tries a knee to the head but Lane blocks it.

Brain Lane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ferdinand fails with an attempt to clinch.

Ferdinand's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Ferdinand continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rual Ferdinand showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! Rual Ferdinand comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ferdinand has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
