The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Cranzinski misses. Cranzinski lands with a hook. Lang tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. A kick lands to the mid section there for Cranzinski. Cranzinski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Cranzinski thows a huge punch but Lang dodges it nicely.
Cranzinski is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Lang is trying to control the action in half guard but Cranzinski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lang seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Cranzinski works his way to full guard. Good work. Lang throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lang cracks Cranzinski with a solid left hand. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lang accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lang keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cranzinski's head. Cranzinski looking for submissions from the bottom here.
