These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Almeida Junior. No joy for Bruno on that attempt.
Leando Almeida Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Almeida Junior is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bruno.
The fighters circling - Bruno throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bruno misses with a few strikes there.
Almeida Junior closes the distance and clinches up with Bruno, looking for a takedown. Almeida Junior pushes Bruno against the cage but Bruno circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Almeida Junior doesn't manage to clinch there - Bruno circles away.
Bruno scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Bruno gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Almeida Junior connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Ajay Bruno has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
