Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Hantunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hernandez Escado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hantunen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bad Religion - American Jesus. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escado bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Escado wants to take a breather but Hantunen manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Escado.
Escado wants to control from the top but Hantunen keeps moving.
Hantunen looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hantunen throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hantunen will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

It looks like Hernandez Escado has been cut.
Escado shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hantunen but Hantunen pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A chopping leg kick lands by Hantunen.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Escado takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mikko Hantunen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hantunen fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Escado to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Escado looks to clinch but Hantunen throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Escado taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
