Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Baldrick Breitner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Breitner's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, BLUNT- "The Iron Maiden". John Doe is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Baldrick Breitner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Doe! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Breitner avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Doe bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Doe fails in his attempt to clinch. Doe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Breitner goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Breitner blocks the body kick.
Breitner keeps the fight on the outside. Breitner avoids a punch combination nicely.
John Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Doe is looking to clinch. Doe is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Doe tries to clinch there but Breitner circles away.
Doe tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Doe looks to score with a jab to the body but Breitner is just out of range. Doe fails in his attempt to clinch. Doe throws a head kick but Breitner moves out of range.

Doe lands with a shot to the body. Doe thows a body shot but no joy. Doe misses with a body shot.
Doe moves in looking to clinch but Breitner pushes him off. Breitner throws and low kick but Doe moves out of range easily. Doe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Breitner paws at him with a jab and circles away. Doe tries to clinch there but Breitner circles away.

Some bone on bone action there as Doe checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Breitner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doe tries to close the distance and clinch but Breitner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Doe is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Doe connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Breitner wants to land a leg kick but Doe is out of range. Doe throws a push kick but Breitner slaps the foot to one side. Doe throws a leg kick that is checked and Breitner counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Breitner is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Breitner in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
It looks like John Doe has been cut. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Breitner cracks Doe with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That has opened up John Doe's cut even more. Breitner has hold of Doe's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Doe manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breitner goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Doe is on top in guard.
Breitner has his foot on Doe's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Doe works his way back into a safe position though. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Doe's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Doe throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Breitner works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Breitner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Doe's guard. Breitner works a leg free and moves into half guard. Doe is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Breitner scores with a couple of nice shots. Doe looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Breitner seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Breitner is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Doe has managed to free his arm - good work. Breitner is breathing heavily. Doe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Breitner seems to be looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Breitner circles away from the clinch attempt and Breitner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Breitner. Breitner trying to control but Doe is working from the bottom. Breitner passes Doe's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Breitner landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Breitner is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breitner is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Breitner drops back, looking for a kneebar! Doe looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Doe looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Doe! You can see the frustration on Breitner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Doe wants to stand but Breitner has his arm trapped. Breitner tries to buck Doe off but Doe is having none of it. Breitner defending against the ground and pound. Breitner sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Breitner is controlling Doe's position as best he can from this difficult position. Breitner makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Breitner.

Doe preventing the sweep. Doe scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Doe loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Breitner lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Doe! Breitner working for a guillotine from mount but Doe is in no mood to give up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Breitner is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Breitner goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Doe turns into him and now he's in Breitner's guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Doe loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Breitner looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Doe misses with a shot to the body so Breitner counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Breitner trying to control the position from guard on top but Doe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Breitneris looking to pass into half guard but Doe pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Doe is in guard. Doe in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Breitner manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The cut above John Doe's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breitner looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Breitner is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Doe has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Doe! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Breitner is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Doe is aware though and is defending well. Doe keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Breitner's head. Doe in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Doe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Breitner wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Breitner is working hard here to advance position. Doe with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doe with a nice head shot there. Doe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Doe scoring with some ground and pound. Breitner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Breitner not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Breitner is trying to control. Doe wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Breitner wants to work for an arm triangle but Doe is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Breitner looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

John Doe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Breitner seems to be looking for submissions.
And that's the end of the fight! Baldrick Breitner showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Breitner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
