Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Bubba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Burke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burke has chosen Let it Rock as his entrance music. Paul Burke acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burke shoots in and bounces Bubba off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bubba working for a triangle but Burke defends it easily.
Bubba pushes Burke off and scrambles back to his feet.
Burke scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bubba is trying to control but can't.
Bubba gets back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bubba working a defensive guard here.
Burke wants to control from the top but Bubba keeps moving. Bubba working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Burke. Burke looking to pass the guard. Burke prevents Bubba from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Burke looks to land a combination. Bubba sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Bubba shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bubba showed some decent athleticism there. Bubba is breathing heavily. Burke is trying to get back to full guard. Bubba throwing shots but Burke is blocking nicely. Burke tries to roll over but Bubba keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bubba is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Burke is looking to improve his position.
Bubba postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Burke to stand up. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Burke!
Burke looks to land a combination. Bubba sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Burke fails with the takedown. Burke swinging wilding here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bubba shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Burke as he avoids it easily. Burke drives through with a takedown into guard. Burke trying to control but Bubba is working from the bottom. Burke connects with a couple of short punches. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bubba looking for a guillotine here but Burke defends easily.
Burke is in close to Bubba's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bubba manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Burke manages to get himself to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Paul Burke will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Burke gets caught flat footed, as Bubba shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Bubba advances to half guard. Burke wants to improve his position but Bubba is controlling well.
Bubba wants to lay and pray for a moment but Burke keeps working. Burke tries to roll over but Bubba keeps him under control. Bubba slows the pace down in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burke is staying active underneath Bubba, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bubba wants to work for an arm triangle but Burke is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Burke feints and as Bubba raises his hands in defense, Burke changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Bubba looking to control.
Burke forces his way into half guard. Burke is tying to control. Bubba wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bubba is looking to escape. Burke is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bubba doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Burke. Burke is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bubba defends it well. Bubba is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burke frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. A nice elbow there by Burke. Bubba tries to reverse the position but Burke maintains control. Bubba tries to hold on but Burke postures up.

Burke distracts Bubba with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bubba bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Burke's guard. Bubba trying to control but Burke is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Chris Bubba will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Burke misses with a takedown and Bubba counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Burke looking for a takedown. Burke looking for a takedown. Chris Bubba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Burke. Bubba leaning against his opponent.
Burke pulls guard. Burke keeping moving, preventing Bubba from controlling successfully. Bubba wants to stand but Burke is controlling his posture from full guard. Bubba trying to control but Burke is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bubba looking to pass the guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bubba advances to half guard. Burke moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Bubba wants to control from the top but Burke keeps moving. Bubba looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bubba trying to control the position from guard on top but Burke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bubba gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Burke misses with a takedown attempt and Bubba counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Burke's guard now. Burke is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bubba passes Burke's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bubba is just content to waste time from the top position. Burke takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Bubba looking to sit in guard and control but Burke gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Burke wants to pass the guard but Bubba is keeping the position. Burke passes Bubba's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Bubba on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Burke is pressing down on Bubba's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bubba is holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Burke is just content to waste time from the top position. Bubba takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Bubba is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Burke advances to half guard. Burke frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Burke prevents Bubba from getting the reversal. Burke lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Bubba showed his dominance in that final round. I think Bubba has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
