Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gary Bubba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Yarris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yarris has chosen Land Down Under as his entrance music. Gary Bubba looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bubba swats away the attempt to clinch by Yarris. Yarris avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Yarris works Bubba's body with a nice hook. Bubba shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Yarris keeps the fight on the outside. Bubba needs to keep his hands up - Yarris had a free shot at his head there. Yarris avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Yarris looks to clinch and Bubba counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Yarris wants to improve his position but Bubba is controlling well.
Bubba wants to stand up but Yarris manages to regain full guard. Yarris pushes Bubba off and scrambles back to his feet.
Bubba is breathing heavily. Yarris feints and as Bubba raises his hands in defense, Yarris changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bubba manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Yarris tries to hold on but Bubba postures up. Bubba thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bubba tries to control but Yarris wriggling away. Bubba unloading with bombs! Yarris is in a horrible position here. Bubba smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Yarris keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Yarris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bubba. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Yarris taking shots to the head. Yarris tries to reverse the position but Bubba maintains control. Bubba controlling the position easily from mount. Yarris tries to hold on but Bubba pushes him away. Bubba goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Yarris turns into him and now he's in Bubba's guard.
Yarris working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bubba's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bubba wants to get back to his feet but Yarris is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Yarris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Yarris wanted to stand there but Bubba had control of the position. Bubba wants to sweep but no luck. Bubba has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Yarris won't allow Bubba to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bubba keeping moving, preventing Yarris from controlling successfully. Yarris looking to pass the guard. Bubba wants to get back to his feet but Yarris is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bubba looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Yarris gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Bubba doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Yarris lands a left hand.
Bubba drops down looking for an ankle pick but Yarris pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Bubba. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yarris clinches with his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Brett Yarris will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Yarris throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Yarris misses with a takedown attempt and Bubba counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Yarris trying to control but Bubba postures up.
Yarris wants to control the action here but instead Bubba manages to pass to full mount! Bubba controlling his opponent. Yarris is desperately trying to improve his position but Bubba has a good base and remains in mount. Bubba landing strikes, looking to finish! Bubba in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bubba looking to secure an arm triangle but Yarris defends it well.

Bubba lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Yarris hang on? Yarris is looking to improve his position but Bubba isn't that keen on the idea. Yarris flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Yarris squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Yarris avoids a series of strikes thrown by Bubba.
Bubba is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Yarris can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Yarris is trying to escape the mount.
Bubba looking to control and managing it successfully. Gary Bubba overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bubba landing punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yarris stops Bubba from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Yarris tries to hold on but Bubba pushes him away. Bubba controlling the pace for now. Bubba lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Bubba stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Yarris fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bubba tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Yarris swivels and escapes. Yarris looks to land a combination but Bubba avoids it well. Bubba avoids the head kick by Yarris.
Bubba misses with a few strikes there.
Yarris stuffs the takedown. Yarris clinches up with Bubba and pushes him back against the cage. Bubba is stalling here.
Yarris wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bubba manages to pull guard.
Yarris wants to stand and escape but instead Bubba has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Bubba advances position into side control! Bubba is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Yarris is trying to escape and Bubba transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Yarris is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bubba! Very nice indeed!
