Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kim Odin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Galushko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim Odin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kim Odin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Galushko!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Odin feints and as Galushko raises his hands in defense, Odin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Odin trying to control the position from guard on top but Galushko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Odin wanted to stand there but Galushko had control of the position.
Odin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Odin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Galushko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Galushko counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Odin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Galushko swivels and escapes.

Galushko has his foot on Odin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Odin works his way back into a safe position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kim Odin will probably get the nod.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Odin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Odin looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Galushko, as that shot connected.
Galushko fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Odin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
