Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mortimer Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duke has chosen Pink Floyd - Money as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kenbo Slice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mortimer Duke! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duke dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Duke shoots in for a double leg but Slice sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Duke is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Slice throws a push kick but Duke slaps the foot to one side. Duke clinches up against the cage. Duke pulls guard. Duke scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Slice with a jab. Slice misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Duke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mortimer Duke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Slice avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Duke shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Slice misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Duke feints and then cracks Slice's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Slice down. Duke pushes Slice away with a front kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Duke shoots and misses so Slice counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kenbo Slice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mortimer Duke. Slice is breathing heavily. Slice trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duke is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Slice jumps into guard, dragging Duke to the mat.
Slice has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Duke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Slice controls Duke momentarily but Duke frees himself. Duke postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Duke chips away with some ground and pound. Duke keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Slice's head. Duke throwing strikes but missing. Slice preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duke slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Duke trying to control but Slice is working from the bottom. Duke throwing strikes from guard but Slice blocks nicely. Duke trying to control but Slice is working from the bottom. Duke cracks Slice with a solid left hand. Duke postures up and lands a big shot to Slice's brow. Duke lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Slice on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Slice tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duke gets to his feet. Slice looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Duke pushes Slice up against the cage in a clinch. Duke can't get the takedown.
Duke breaks from the clinch.
Slice takes a kick to the side of the head. Duke doesn't succeed with the takedown and Slice counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Duke throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Duke kicks off Slice and gets to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Duke fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Slice, pushing him back against the cage. Duke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Duke tries to clinch up but Slice circles away and keeps his distance. Duke wants to clinch up but Slice keeps it at a distance. Duke fails in his attempt to clinch. Duke takes the fight into the clinch. Slice jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Duke walks away with a smile on his face. Slice gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duke gets in close and instigates a clinch. Duke breaks from the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Duke looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Duke fails in his attempt to clinch. Duke scores with a body shot.
Slice walks into a stiff left hand from Duke. Duke closes the distance but Slice moves to the side and Slice counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Duke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Duke throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Duke. Slice circles away from the clinch attempt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Duke lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Duke bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Duke feints and as Slice raises his hands in defense, Duke changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mortimer Duke dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Duke closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Slice did well to prevent Duke getting side control. Slice tries to kick Duke off but Duke keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Duke is trying to control. Slice wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Slice wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duke looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Duke stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Slice to get to his feet. Duke fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Duke looks to land a combination but Slice avoids it well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Duke has managed to clinch.
Slice is trying to break free. Duke breaks the clinch.
Duke closes the distance and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Duke fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Slice sprawls well initially but Duke persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Duke controlling the action here. Duke drops an elbow to the side of Slice's head. Slice blocking the ground and pound attempt from Duke. Duke wants to control but Slice is keeping him busy. Duke tries to pass to full mount but Slice defends it. Duke stands up out of the half guard. Slice swats away the attempt to clinch by Duke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duke connects with a solid leg kick. Kenbo Slice is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Duke tries to clinch but Slice is having none of it. Duke clinches with his opponent.
A head punch on the inside from Slice fails to land. Duke breaks from the clinch.
Duke fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Slice on the side of the head. Duke gets a clinch. Duke creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Slice's defenses. Slice jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Duke walks away with a smile on his face. Slice gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Duke scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Slice is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Duke scores with a couple of nice shots. Duke scoring with strikes to the body and head. Duke working over Slice with some ground and pound. Slice looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Slice tries to kick Duke off in order to stand up. Duke Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Duke fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duke is looking to take a break and control but Slice is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Duke decides to take the fight back to the feet. Duke darts in and clinches Slice up against the cage. Slice is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Duke escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Duke stuffs the takedown. Duke feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Mortimer Duke has got the better of the ground game so far. Duke postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Slice working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Duke. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duke stands and throws Slice's legs to the side, diving into side control. Slice is not content to let Duke control the position. Slice tries to get back to half guard but can't. Slice is working hard here to advance position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Duke fails with the takedown so Slice counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mortimer Duke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Slice has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Slice stops Duke from standing up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Slice takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Slice looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Duke closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Duke escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Duke gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Duke pulls guard. Duke wants to get back to his feet but Slice is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Slice wants to control from the top but Duke keeps moving. Duke manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Duke moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Slice has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Duke finds it's way round the side to connect with Slice's head. Duke has Slice up against the cage in a clinch.

Duke moves in looking to clinch but Slice pushes him off. Slice takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Left hook, right uppercut from Duke. Duke lands a head kick. Slice smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Mortimer Duke seems to be getting the better of the standup. Duke shoots in but no luck this time. Duke gets a takedown into half guard. Duke is keen to just control but Slice is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slice looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Duke lands a nice short elbow. Duke lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Duke escapes and gets back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fight moves into the clinch position. Duke breaks the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Duke shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slice but Slice pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kenbo Slice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mortimer Duke. Duke gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kenbo Slice has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Duke jumps guard but Slice stands there with Duke around his waist. Duke gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Mortimer Duke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Duke has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
