Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Mathers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ali in the Jungle. Marshall Mathers is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A left and a right from Mathers both land. Nice combination.
Mathers comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mathers feints and then cracks Hardy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hardy down.
Hardy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mathers's waist but Mathers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hardy off to one side.
Hardy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hardy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nice takedown defense from Mathers. No joy for Hardy on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Hardy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hardy fails with the takedown.
Hardy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mathers lands with a kick to the temple. Hardy shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A slapping body kick lands there for Mathers.
Hardy is breathing heavily.
Mathers thumps Hardy with a low kick.
Mathers connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mathers looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Mathers lands a big head kick that sends Hardy tumbling to the mat! Mathers takes a step backwards and waves Hardy back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hardy is rocked!
Mathers seems to be stalking Hardy here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Hardy drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Marshall Mathers!
