Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Reed's choice of entrance music: Its the season. Ryan Reed told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Durant! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Reed! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durant throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Reed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Durant steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Reed. That one must have hurt. Durant avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Reed throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Durant was covering up waiting for the punch and Reed finishes the takedown easily into guard. Reed postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Reed trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Reed trying to control the position from guard on top but Durant is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reed gets to his feet. Durant looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Durant leaves Reed with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Reed closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Reed trying to control from half guard but Durant is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durant missing with punches from the bottom.
Durant is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Durant wants to get back to his feet. Reed is looking to take a break and control but Durant is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Durant tries to get to full guard but Reed has control of the leg. Reed is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Durant sees it coming and defends easily. Reed looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Reed tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Durant was well out of range. Poor timing from Reed. Durant shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Reed bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Durant's head. Durant defending well as Reed loads up on a big left hand. Durant throws a body kick the misses and Reed counters by moving into the clinch. Reed looking to slow down the pace here. Reed wants a takedown.
Durant jumps guard but Reed stands there with Durant around his waist. Durant gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Durant prevents a takedown attempt there.
Kevin Durant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Reed. Durant is looking to break free of the clinch but Reed has double underhooks. Durant's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Durant lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durant throws a push kick but Reed slaps the foot to one side. Durant lands a nice shot that snaps Reed's head back.
Durant throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Reed is rocked! Durant moves into range and clinches up with Reed. Reed is still on wobbly legs! Can Durant finish him? Durant throws a big uppercut that drops Reed! More strikes from Durant and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Reed lies dazed against the cage as Durant celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Durant!
