Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Racka Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen Wu-Tang Clan - Bring Da Ruckus as his entrance music. Steven Lee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Racka Lamb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Steven Lee! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lamb tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lee was well out of range. Poor timing from Lamb. Good work by Lamb as he checks the leg kick. Lamb rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lee moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lee slips under a jab from Lamb. Lamb steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lee. Lee slips under a jab from Lamb. Lamb fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Lee has a takedown stuffed. Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lamb moves away. Lamb throws a predictable looking body shot
and Lee counters with a nice uppercut. Lamb lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. A lazy left from Lee finds it's target. Lamb gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lee works a leg free and moves into half guard. Lamb is looking to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lamb looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Lamb is refusing to be controlled, as Lee sits in half guard. Lamb on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lamb tries to get out of the position. Lee seems to be looking for submissions.
Lamb won't allow Lee to pass to mount. Lee wants to control but Lamb is keeping him busy.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lamb shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lamb showed some decent athleticism there. Lamb seems to be working for a kimura but Lee defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lamb thows a huge punch but Lee dodges it nicely.

Lamb preventing the sweep. Lamb postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lamb wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lamb lands a two punch combo.
No joy there for Lamb, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lamb changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Lamb manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A punch lands to the side of Lee 's head but he takes it in his stride. Lamb throws a sloppy head kick and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lamb.

Lee postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lamb is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lee, into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lamb preventing the sweep. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lee is on top in guard.

Lee is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lamb is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee looking to sit in guard and control but Lamb gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

enabling Lee to counter with a crisp jab. Lamb lands a head shot. Lee walks into a straight right hand from Lamb. Lamb moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Lamb swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lee throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lamb was covering up waiting for the punch and Lee finishes the takedown easily into guard. Lee wants to pass the guard but Lamb is keeping the position. Lamb looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lee drops back looking for a leg! Lamb is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lamb manages to kick Lee off! Lee jumps back into Lamb's guard. Lee won't allow Lamb to sweep him here. Lamb has momentary wrist control but Lee slips an elbow through the middle. Lamb is looking for a triangle but Lee pushes his legs off easily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lamb to the mat! Lamb manages to get full guard. Lee wants to control from the top but Lamb keeps moving. Lee throwing strikes from guard but Lamb blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Lamb is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lee is looking to work some ground and pound but Lamb has wrist control. Lee trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lamb is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lee is aware though and is defending well. Lee throws a strike but Lamb rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Lamb got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lamb has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted. Lee is breathing heavily. Lamb trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lamb being controlled here momentarily. Lamb trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom. Lee wants to sweep but no luck. Lee keeping full guard, as Lamb tries to pass. Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Lamb works over Lee with some ground and pound from guard. Lee looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lamb controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Lamb is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Lamb is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control. Lee working a defensive guard here.
Lee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lamb is one step ahead there. Lamb throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lee works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lamb stands up over Lee, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lamb postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lee waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lamb. Racka Lamb is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lee takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Racka Lamb dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
A punch combination from Lamb misses. Lamb looks to land a right hand but Lee moved out of range. Lee throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lamb scores with a three punch combo!
Lee scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Lamb looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Lamb is trying to maintain the position but Lee is very close to passing his half guard. Lee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lamb does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lamb is trying to control but can't.
Lamb is controlling Lee's trapped leg to prevent Lee from advancing to side control. Lee trying to control the action but Lamb is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lamb wants to get back to full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lamb slips under a jab. Lamb throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lamb smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Lee shoots in and bounces Lamb off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Lamb has his hands on Lee's head, controlling the position. Lee sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lamb's guard. Lee passes to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee working the head and body with strikes. Lee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lamb has escaped the position, nice work there. Lamb is not content to let Lee control the position. Lee taking a break here but Lamb is having none of it and regains half guard. Lamb trying to control here.

Racka Lamb is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lamb keeping full guard, as Lee tries to pass. Lee is fighting to break Lamb's control of his arms but Lamb is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lamb staying out of range there. Lamb throws a right hand that Lee ducks under and follows up with a left that Lee also avoids with ease. Lamb stuffs the takedown attempt from Lee. Lee gets slowly back to his feet. Racka Lamb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee staying out of range there. Lamb scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lamb is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Lamb circles away and we're back to standing. Steven Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lamb uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Racka Lamb is winning the standup battle so far. Lamb works Lee's body with a nice hook.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Racka Lamb. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lamb, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
