Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Figueroa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little john (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Figueroa 's entrance music is Samba Pa Ti by Carlos Santana. A fine choice. john has chosen its a fight as his entrance music. Little john has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figueroa throws a right and a left that john avoids nicely.
Figueroa stalks john and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into john's face. john staggers backwards, shaken.
john on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Figueroa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming john to the mat! john manages to get full guard.
Figueroa thows a big elbow that misses.
Figueroa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Figueroa trying to control the position from guard on top but john is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
john pulls Figueroa in close to prevent any damage.
john is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

john seems to be working for a kimura but Figueroa defends the submission attempt.

Figueroa is looking for a sweep. john is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
john tries to pass the half guard into mount. Figueroa knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

john maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Figueroa could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but john has cracked it and Figueroa is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by john!
