Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knot shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Knot drives through and clinches with Phoenix against the cage.
Phoenix tries to break the clinch but Knot is controlling the position.
Phoenix jumps guard but Knot stands there with Phoenix around his waist. Phoenix gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Knot has Phoenix pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Phoenix manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Phoenix breaks from the clinch.
Knot shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Knot was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ted Knot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Phoenix.
Phoenix feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Knot wants to get back to his feet but Phoenix is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Phoenix sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Knot's guard.

Phoenix working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Knot doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Phoenix is tightening it up a little... Knot has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Knot reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Knot taps out! nice BJJ there by Phoenix!
