Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Major!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Thor Rasmunssen!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Major looks for a takedown but Rasmunssen sprawls well.

I really don't envy Major right now.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rasmunssen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Major thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Thor Rasmunssen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Major tries to clinch but Rasmunssen moves away

Rasmunssen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Major's face.
Major wants to get back to his feet.
Rasmunssen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Rasmunssen is working for a guillotine from mount but Major frees his head quite easily.

Major is desperately trying to improve his position but Rasmunssen has a good base and remains in mount.
Rasmunssen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Major is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Major is just holding on here. Rasmunssen manages to take his back.
Rasmunssen is looking to finish with some ground and pound!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rasmunssen really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Major.
Rasmunssen's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Rasmunssen is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Major knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Major for a finish.
Will Rasmunssen go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Oooh a big shot gets through from Rasmunssen. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Rasmunssen has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Major is defending well but eventually Rasmunssen manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Major has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
