Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Factor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Richter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Factor lands with a shot to the body.
Richter dives in and grabs Factor's left leg, looking for a takedown. Factor pushes down on Richter's head and hops out.
Richter swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Factor counters by clinching up.
Richter tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Factor avoids it.
Factor creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Factor lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Richter throws a head punch that misses.
Factor tries to land knees in the clinch but Richter avoids the damage to the body.
Richter tries a body shot but Factor blocks it.

Richter is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Factor can't fight it off and eventually Richter manages to take the fight to the floor. Factor looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Richter throws and elbow that misses. Factor uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Richter's guard. Nice move by Factor!

Richter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Factor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Richter throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Factor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Factor forces his way into half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Factor looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Richter!
Factor pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Factor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Richter can do to turn this around?

John Richter's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
