Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between aaron maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and iron man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, iron man!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
maxwell fails in his attempt to clinch.
maxwell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
maxwell tries to clinch up but man circles away and keeps his distance.
man feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
maxwell is working an open guard so man takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
man looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
man tries to stand but maxwell is controlling from the bottom.
man trying to control the position from guard on top but maxwell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
maxwell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
man is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
man throws a strike but maxwell rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
man tries to land a sweep but no joy.

man is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
maxwell tries to stand but man is controlling from the bottom.
man is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
maxwell tries to clinch there but man circles away.
maxwell tries to clinch but man moves out of range.
man drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
man gets to his feet. maxwell looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
maxwell is breathing heavily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from man.
aaron maxwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
man gets a takedown into half guard.
man stalling.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
maxwell wants to clinch up but man keeps it at a distance.
man circles away from the clinch attempt.
man moves into range and clinches up with maxwell.
man manages to pull guard.
maxwell tries to stand but man is controlling from the bottom.
man wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

man has his foot on maxwell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. maxwell works his way back into a safe position though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as man holds on and takes a little breather.
man wants to stand up but maxwell is controlling him.
maxwell won't allow man to sweep him here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
maxwell looks to clinch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
maxwell wants to clinch but man slips to the side
and man counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
man trying to control but maxwell is working from the bottom.
maxwell wants to stand but man is controlling the position.
man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. maxwell swivels though and keeps the full guard.

man not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
maxwell is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst man is controlling him.

man is standing up over maxwell. maxwell looks to escape but man dives into side control.
An elbow from man crashes against the mat.
maxwell wants to get back to his feet but man drags him back down.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
man fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
man has managed to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
iron man showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

man pulls out of a head kick attempt.
maxwell wants to clinch but man slips to the side
and man counters by clinching up.
man has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed maxwell clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
man working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
maxwell is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

man missing with strikes.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
maxwell trying to get back to his feet but man is in full control for now.
A bit of a pause in the action here. man controlling the positon.
man wants to control but maxwell is keeping busy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
man is looking for the choke from the back position but maxwell is controlling his hands well.
maxwell manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. man is now in side control.
man in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

maxwell is looking to get back to his feet here but man is keeping cool and he's managed to take maxwell's back.
