Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Raymond Saulnier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Retino Blastoma!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Blastoma is working for takedown but Saulnier is calmly controlling the position for now.
Blastoma wants to stall.
Blastoma misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Saulnier.
Saulnier wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Saulnier could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Saulnier blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Saulnier is trying to trip Blastoma. He has hold of a leg but Blastoma is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Saulnier persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Saulnier trying to stand up but can't free himself from Blastoma's guard.
Saulnier drops back looking for a leg! Blastoma is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Blastoma manages to kick Saulnier off! Saulnier jumps back into Blastoma's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blastoma has his feet on Saulnier's thighs here. He's pushed Saulnier off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Saulnier screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
