Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Clifford Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Daville (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Clifford Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Daville! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Daville. Jackson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jackson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jackson moves in looking to clinch but Daville pushes him off. Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Daville moves out of range easily. Daville has a takedown stuffed. Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Daville avoids a punch combination nicely.
Daville wants to clinch but Jackson slips to the side and Jackson counters with a flying knee. Nice. Daville tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jackson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Daville somewhat. Daville looks to clinch and Jackson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Daville's guard now. Jackson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Daville wants to stand and escape but Jackson is having none of it. Daville has his feet on Jackson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Daville scores a takedown into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Daville working Jackson over with strikes here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daville is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jackson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Daville tries to control but Jackson wriggling away. Jackson is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Daville can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jackson is looking to escape. Daville looks gassed! Daville avoids the attempt from Jackson to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Daville on the ground. Daville working the ground and pound effectively.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson tries to reverse the position but Daville maintains control. Jackson has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Daville's lack of action.
Daville looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daville wants to stand but Jackson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Daville wants to take a breather but Jackson is having none of it. Jackson wants to get back to his feet.
Daville is looking to stall here but Jackson recovers full guard. Daville wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Clifford Jackson will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jackson pushes Daville up against the cage in a clinch. Jackson manages to break the clinch.
Jackson ducks under a wild hook from Daville. Jackson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Daville's head. Jackson throws a head kick but Daville moves out of range.
Both fighters circling a little - Daville finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Daville throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jackson counters with a head kick. That will keep Daville thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Daville drives through with a takedown into guard. Daville wants to pass the guard but Jackson is keeping the position. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Daville from controlling successfully. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson keeping full guard, as Daville tries to pass. Daville avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jackson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Daville would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jackson wants to stand but Daville is controlling the position. Daville wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Daville throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jackson was covering up waiting for the punch and Daville finishes the takedown easily into guard. Jackson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daville trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Daville in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jackson controlling the position. Jackson wriggles free and stands up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Daville. Jackson has closed the distance and engaged Daville in a clinch.
Jackson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Jackson wants to hit a switch here but Daville passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jackson there! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but John Daville will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Daville throws a head kick that misses and Jackson counters by moving into the clinch. Jackson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Jackson has hold of one of Daville's legs. Daville is fighting the takedown attempt but Jackson gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Jackson throws a strike but Daville rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Jackson keeping full guard, as Daville tries to pass. John Daville has got the better of the ground game so far. Daville sitting in guard here, content to control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jackson is controlling Daville's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daville wanted to stand there but Jackson had control of the position. Jackson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Daville wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.

Clifford Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Daville. Jackson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Jackson wants to control the position but Daville says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is staying active underneath Daville, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Daville is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jackson! BOOM! Daville connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Daville landing strikes from the mount and Jackson is in trouble! Daville is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Jackson is trying to stand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Daville lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Jackson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Daville takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Daville scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jackson?
Jackson is working to get back to half guard.
Daville moves to the back.
And that's the end of the fight! Clifford Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. I think Jackson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
