Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jock McEwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hammer Time (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jock McEwan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hammer Time's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jock McEwan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hammer Time! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Time is looking to clinch. Time gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Time doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Time wants to sweep but no luck. McEwan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. McEwan trying to control but Time is working from the bottom. McEwan controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. McEwan gets to his feet - Time follows without any prompting. McEwan forces Time back against the cage and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. McEwan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Time just stands there and leans against the cage. Time has McEwan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. McEwan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Jock McEwan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hammer Time. Time wants to clinch. Time tries for a takedown but McEwan circles away easily and McEwan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Time! Time really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

McEwan avoids the attempt from Time to control. McEwan landing shots from mount. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Time can do anything to dispel that myth.

Time is squirming around, avoiding McEwan's attempts to control the action. McEwan with a couple of short strikes. McEwan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Time is bucking up trying to escape but McEwan cracks him with another couple of good strikes. McEwan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McEwan working for a guillotine from mount but Time is in no mood to give up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McEwan connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

McEwan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. McEwan trying to control from half guard but Time is working away. McEwan working Time over with strikes. McEwan performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Time trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. McEwan controlling the pace for now. McEwan trying to control but Time is having none of it.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Jock McEwan just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Time fails with the takedown and McEwan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Time's guard. Time wants to get back to his feet but McEwan is in a dominant position and won't allow it. McEwan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Time, up you get!
That's two minutes gone in the round. McEwan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Time is looking for a sweep. McEwan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. McEwan working the ground and pound. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Time prevents McEwan from improving position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Time is positioning himself to get back to half guard. McEwan wants to control but Time is keeping him busy. Time is trying to control McEwan's posture but McEwan avoids it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. McEwan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Time sprawls well initially but McEwan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Time trying to control but McEwan postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McEwan stalling away here and it's allowed Time to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Time trying to keep a closed guard but McEwan is proving a slippery customer.
Time looking for a sweep. Not yet Time, not yet. McEwan trying to control but Time is working from the bottom. McEwan preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jock McEwan dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Time tries to clinch up. Time gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and McEwan counters with a shoot takedown. Time fights it but they end up in guard. Time is controlling McEwan's posture. McEwan controlling from the top position. McEwan throwing strikes from guard but Time blocks nicely. McEwan pushes down on Time's leg and manages to get into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. McEwan trying to mount his opponent but Time defends it. McEwan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McEwan in particular looking to stall. McEwan working Time over with strikes. McEwan keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. McEwan moves nicely into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McEwan in side control, throwing shots but Time defends. Time is looking for a sweep. Time is pushing McEwan's head away, looking to escape. McEwan manages to hold on to the position though. Time is trying to control McEwan's posture but McEwan avoids it. Time tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. A bit of a pause in the action here. McEwan controlling the positon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Time has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from McEwan. McEwan cracks Time with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Time from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
McEwan has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Time's body.
McEwan has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Time is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
McEwan lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by McEwan.

And that's the end of the fight! Jock McEwan showed his dominance in that final round. Well McEwan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
