Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alessio Palmisano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian Cushing II! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cushing II swats away the attempt to clinch by Palmisano. Palmisano keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Palmisano doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cushing II counters with a nice double leg into guard. Palmisano looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cushing II slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Palmisano is trying to control Cushing II's posture but Cushing II avoids it. Cushing II wants to lay and pray for a moment but Palmisano keeps working. The strikes coming from Cushing II are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Cushing II controlling the position. Palmisano is trying to control Cushing II's posture but Cushing II avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cushing II throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Palmisano on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Palmisano tries to get out of the position. Cushing II tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cushing II has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Cushing II is trying to get an arm triangle but Palmisano is defending well. Cushing II wants to lay and pray for a moment but Palmisano keeps working. Palmisano is looking for a sweep. Palmisano struggling a bit here.

Palmisano is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Palmisano tries to buck Cushing II off but Cushing II is having none of it. Palmisano is breathing heavily. Palmisano wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Cushing II tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Palmisano managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Cushing II.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cushing II is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Palmisano has escaped the position, nice work there. Cushing II has hold of Palmisano's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Palmisano tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Cushing II cranks the arm and Palmisano screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Palmisano, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
