Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Devon Bagg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perk Fitzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fitzer drives through and clinches with Bagg against the cage.
Bagg wants to break free but Fitzer has control.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Fitzer leaning his opponent against the cage.
Bagg is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
A knee to the head by Fitzer.
Bagg drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bagg shoots in looking for a takedown. Fitzer tries to sprawl out of it but Bagg keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fitzer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fitzer lands with a nice body punch.

Fitzer closes the distance and clinches.

Bagg changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fitzer fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Bagg feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fitzer is looking to clinch but Bagg is avoiding it.

Oooh a lovely combination from Bagg sends Fitzer down but not out. Bagg dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Perk Fitzer has been cut.

Bagg is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fitzer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The strikes coming from Bagg are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Fitzer is trying to buck Bagg off.
Fitzer is trying to control Bagg's posture but Bagg avoids it.
I wouldn't like to be where Fitzer is right now.

Bagg misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Bagg is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fitzer has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fitzer is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bagg is controlling him well.
Bagg creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Fitzer sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bagg tries to clinch but Fitzer is having none of it.

Bagg tries to score a body lock takedown but Fitzer shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Fitzer will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bagg up against the cage.
Bagg drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fitzer pulls his leg out and moves away.

Fitzer throws a leg kick which misses Bagg's front leg but catches the back leg as Bagg tries to avoid it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bagg swats away the attempt to clinch by Fitzer.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fitzer moves in looking to clinch but Bagg pushes him off.

Fitzer lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bagg takes a step back to recover.

Fitzer fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fitzer throws a series of punches but Bagg avoids them all with ease.

Fitzer lands a head kick. Bagg smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Bagg will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Bagg swats away the attempt to clinch by Fitzer.
A combination from Bagg does no damage.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bagg crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fitzer - the referee stops the clock and Bagg gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fitzer. Bagg manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
No joy there for Fitzer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bagg works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bagg stands and steps away. Fitzer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fitzer can do anything to dispel that myth.

No joy there for Bagg, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bagg takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Fitzer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bagg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Perk Fitzer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Bagg looks for a takedown but Fitzer sprawls well.
Fitzer lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Fitzer throws a sloppy head kick and Bagg moves out of range easily.

Bagg shoots in but Fitzer avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Bagg throws a right hand that Fitzer ducks under and follows up with a left that Fitzer also avoids with ease.

Fitzer tries to hold on but Bagg pushes him away.
Fitzer seems to have recovered his senses.
Bagg won't let Fitzer get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Bagg tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Bagg sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Bagg jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Fitzer is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Fitzer and Bagg has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Perk Fitzer's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Bagg doesn't manage to clinch there - Fitzer circles away.
Bagg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fitzer pinned against the cage. Fitzer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Bagg counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Perk Fitzer's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
