Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malcolm Hopkins has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Malcolm Hopkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, William Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hopkins feints and as Harrison raises his hands in defense, Hopkins changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hopkins passes Harrison's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Harrison slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Hopkins has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Hopkins drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hopkins jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Harrison is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hopkins off and has taken his back!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hopkins manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Hopkins misses with a takedown attempt - Harrison sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hopkins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Harrison pinned against the cage. Harrison gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Harrison decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Harrison is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Harrison is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hopkins defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Harrison seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Hopkins's chin but Hopkins turns very nicely into Harrison's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Hopkins.

William Harrison comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Harrison has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
