Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Angel Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes to the cage accompanied by Jump. Fabio Silva has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Angel Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabio Silva!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva tries for a takedown but Parker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Silva moves into the clinch.
Silva lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Silva is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva is pressing down on Parker's thigh, looking to free his foot. Parker is holding on for now.
Parker is trying to get back to full guard.
Silva is working for a submission of some sort.
Parker makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Parker.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Parker trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Silva thows a big elbow that misses.
Silva throwing strikes but missing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is pushing down on Parker's leg trying to pass to half guard. Parker is fighting to maintain full guard but Silva has managed to sneak the leg through.
Silva slows the pace down in half guard.

Parker looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Parker's head.
Parker is trying to maintain the position but Silva is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Silva is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Silva has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fabio Silva dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Parker keeps the fight on the outside.
Parker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Parker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Parker doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.

Silva looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Parker is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Silva moves nicely into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Parker is letting Silva control him for a moment.
Silva advances nicely into full mount.

Silva lands a nice shot to the head.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Despite being in the dominant position, Fabio Silva just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Parker tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Silva counters with a single leg into guard. Parker didn't expect that.
Parker is trying to keep Silva in close.
Parker looking for a sweep. Not yet Parker, not yet.
Silva looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fabio Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Parker tries to clinch up
and Silva counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Silva.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Silva.
Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Parker has him pressed against the cage.
Silva works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Silva stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Silva closes the distance but Parker moves to the side
and Parker counters by clinching up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Silva stops a takedown attempt from Parker.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva jumps into guard, dragging Parker to the mat.
Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Parker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Silva pulls Parker in close to his closed guard and prevents Parker from doing any damage or advancing position.
Parker postures up in Silva's guard and throws a big left but Silva blocks it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Parker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Parker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Silva avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Parker trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silva is looking to clinch.
Silva circles away from the clinch attempt
and Silva counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Parker's guard now.

Silva with a flurry of punches that miss.
Parker tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Parker is working hard here to advance position.
Silva's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Silva wants to pass the guard but Parker is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Silva accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Parker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Parker swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Parker gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
And that's the end of the fight!
Fabio Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
