Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lift Stronger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory Derkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lift Stronger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gregory Derkins! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stronger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Derkins tries to avoid it but Stronger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Derkins to the ground. Derkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Stronger shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Derkins as he avoids it easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Derkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Derkins tries to clinch up but Stronger circles away and keeps his distance. Stronger shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Derkins as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lift Stronger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Derkins takes the fight into the clinch. Derkins manages to break the clinch.

Derkins gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Derkins has Stronger pressed against the cage, preventing Stronger from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Derkins wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Stronger tries to pull guard but Derkins holds him up against the cage and eventually Stronger drops back down to his feet.
Derkins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The fight stays on the outside here - Derkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Derkins fails to land the takedown. Derkins lands a nice leg kick that just misses Stronger's sensitive parts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Derkins tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Derkins throws a head kick that Stronger semi-blocks.
Derkins pushes Stronger up against the cage in a clinch. Derkins lands a nice knee to the body. Stronger fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Stronger gets control of Derkins's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stronger will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Derkins gets to his feet. Stronger looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Derkins chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Derkins instigates a clinch. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Stronger managing to block the knees to the body from Derkins.
Stronger jumps guard but Derkins stands there with Stronger around his waist. Stronger gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Derkins scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Derkins throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Stronger. Derkins closes the distance and clinches up with Stronger, looking for a takedown. Derkins pushes Stronger against the cage but Stronger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Derkins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Derkins wants it to stay on the feet. Stronger is breathing heavily. Derkins is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Derkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Derkins has managed to clinch.

Derkins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Stronger drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Derkins pushes Stronger away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Stronger gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Derkins tries to buck Stronger off but Stronger is having none of it. Stronger tries to move to mount but Derkins blocks the move with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stronger stands up and beckons Derkins to his feet. Derkins tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Derkins rushes Stronger and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Derkins tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Derkins using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Stronger has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Derkins letting Stronger take a breather here. Stronger pulls guard effortlessly. Stronger bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Derkins's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stronger stays in close to Derkins's body and controls the position. Derkins is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stronger is controlling him. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Stronger wants to control from the top but Derkins keeps moving. Derkins is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stronger forces his way into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gregory Derkins dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Stronger misses with a takedown attempt so Derkins counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Stronger looking for a guillotine here but Derkins defends easily.

Stronger working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Derkins. Derkins wants to pass the guard but Stronger is keeping the position. Stronger working a defensive guard but Derkins manages to pass into side control anyway.
Derkins is trying to get an arm triangle but Stronger is defending well. Derkins stands up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stronger steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Derkins. That one must have hurt. Stronger darts in trying to clinch and Derkins moves into the clinch. Stronger goes for a takedown in the clinch but Derkins prevents it.

Stronger misses with a hook from the clinch. Stronger jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Derkins walks away with a smile on his face. Stronger gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lift Stronger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Derkins closes the distance and clinches. Stronger tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Derkins throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stronger blocks it with crossed arms. Derkins lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Derkins is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Stronger is defending well for now. Stronger tries to pull guard but Derkins holds him up against the cage and eventually Stronger drops back down to his feet.
Derkins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stronger. Derkins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stronger pushes a forearm under Derkins's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Derkins is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
