Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kaiser Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Silvera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silvera comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Money Shot kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaiser Soze! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joey Silvera! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soze closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Soze lands in his opponent's guard. Silvera has Soze pulled in close to control his posture. Silvera working a defensive guard here.
Soze pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Silvera is keeping the position for now. Soze advances position into side control! Silvera dodges the ground and pound from Soze. Silvera dodges the ground and pound from Soze. Soze throws an elbow but Silvera slips to the side and avoids it well. Silvera manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Silvera missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Silvera throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soze blocking the ground and pound attempt from Silvera. Silvera working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Soze's thigh. Soze counters though and makes it back to full guard. Silvera stopping the sweep attempt from Soze. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Soze is on top in guard.
Soze working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Silvera's head. Soze sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Silvera's guard. Soze wants to control but Silvera is keeping him busy. Soze is stalling here. Silvera is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Soze seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Silvera has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Soze struggling a bit here. Silvera throws an elbow but Soze slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Soze's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Silvera misses with the ground and pound. Soze is working to avoid the ground and pound but Silvera connects with a decent elbow. Silvera in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Soze manages to get back to half guard. Soze is not content to let Silvera control the position. Silvera prevents Soze from improving his position. Silvera thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Soze's head. Silvera missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Silvera throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Silvera looks to land a strike but Soze avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silvera postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Soze looking for a sweep. Not yet Soze, not yet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Soze tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silvera swivels and escapes. Soze will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Soze changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silvera tries to avoid it but Soze manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silvera to the ground. Silvera escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kaiser Soze. That's going to take a lot out of him. Soze looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Silvera keeping control of the position. Silvera blocking the ground and pound attempt from Soze. Soze has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Soze lands a big elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silvera is looking to get to half guard. Soze is landing with some decent strikes but Silvera is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Soze landing strikes, looking to finish! Silvera tries to get back to half guard but can't. Soze working away from the top, dropping strikes. Soze landing shots from mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Soze avoids the attempt from Silvera to control. Soze is in the full mount, landing strikes. Silvera looks gassed! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Soze can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Silvera is looking to escape. Soze scoring with strikes but Silvera is staying in there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kaiser Soze dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Soze works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Soze avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Soze shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Silvera manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Soze in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Silvera looking for a sweep. Not yet Silvera, not yet. Soze working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Soze is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Soze loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Soze slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Soze thows a big elbow that misses. Silvera being controlled here, momentarily. Soze pushing down on Silvera's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soze works his foot free and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Soze fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Soze has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Silvera's face.
Soze with the ground and pound from mount. Soze lands a heavy elbow. Soze jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Silvera is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Silvera and Soze has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Soze lands a nice forearm strike. Silvera regains half guard, as Soze was trying to land strikes. Kaiser Soze overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soze throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Soze moves into full mount! Silvera won't be happy about that! Silvera tries to get back to half guard but can't. Silvera wants to hold on but Soze pushes him away. Soze connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Soze cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Silvera is breathing heavily. Soze lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Silvera hang on? Soze landing shots from mount. Soze lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Silvera is rocked! Silvera is in a horrible position here. Soze smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Silvera is still in real trouble! Can Soze finish him? Silvera takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Soze's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kaiser Soze! Kaiser Soze is the new middleweight champion!
