The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hands fails to land with a series of punches.
Matic doesn't manage to clinch there - Hands circles away.
Hands leaves Matic with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Matic cracks the inside of Hands's front leg.
Matic moves into the clinch.
Hands is trying to force a seperation but Matic has the dominant position.
Hands really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Matic pulls guard successfully.
Hands drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Matic manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hands has Matic in his guard.
Hands knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Matic on the ground.
Matic wants to control from the top but Hands keeps moving.

Hands will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
