Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abu Ubba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davi Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ubba shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Silva tries to clinch but Ubba is having none of it.
Abu Ubba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ubba closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silva circles away.
Silva lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Ubba changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Ubba manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ubba throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ubba off to one side.

Ubba drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick Ubba off! Ubba jumps back into Silva's guard.
Abu Ubba overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ubba is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control.
Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ubba has one foot on Silva's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Silva clinches.
Ubba has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Silva avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Crunch! Silva slams his shin into Ubba's torso.

That was a close second round but I would say that Abu Ubba will probably get the nod.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Silva! Ubba is out on his feet! Silva rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Ubba is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Ubba is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
