Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mc Scrappy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zachariah Jabari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jabari has chosen Run this town as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scrappy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Scrappy performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jabari wants to get back to his feet.
Scrappy wants to pass the guard but Jabari is defending well. Scrappy content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Scrappy works his way into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jabari is trying to get back to his feet. Scrappy tries for a kimura but Jabari is defending well. Scrappy trying to control the position but Jabari is working away. Jabari is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Scrappy has just dragged him back down to the mat. Scrappy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jabari keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jabari wants to get back to his feet. Scrappy advances to full mount. Jabari trying desperately to get to his feet.
Scrappy wants to take Jabari's back here but Jabari is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Scrappy jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jabari manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jabari is trying to buck Scrappy off. Jabari wants to get back to his feet but Scrappy is dominant here and he's now got Jabari's back! Scrappy keeps control of the position easily here as Jabari tries to buck him off.
Jabari wants to get back to his feet. Jabari really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scrappy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Scrappy is persistently looking for the submission but Jabari is defending it well.
Scrappy is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jabari manages to escape to his feet. Scrappy could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Scrappy has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Scrappy shoots for a takedown but Jabari saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mc Scrappy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scrappy fails with a takedown attempt. Jabari has Scrappy up against the cage in a clinch.
Jabari turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jabari manages to end up in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Zachariah Jabari will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Scrappy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jabari has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Scrappy is proving hard to escape from. Scrappy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Scrappy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jabari wants to get up but he can't break Scrappy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Scrappy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jabari decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Scrappy, up you get! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Scrappy with a poor takedown and Jabari counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jabari wanted to stand there but Scrappy had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jabari gets to his feet. Scrappy looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Jabari shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Scrappy's guard. Jabari has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Scrappy is proving hard to escape from. Scrappy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Zachariah Jabari has got the better of the ground game so far. Scrappy has a closed guard, preventing Jabari from standing up. Scrappy throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Jabari wanted to stand there but Scrappy had control of the position. Scrappy wants to sweep here but Jabari controlling him for the moment. Jabari is looking to stand up but Scrappy won't let him.

Scrappy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Scrappy with a lazy takedown attempt and Jabari counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jabari. Scrappy tries to pull guard but Jabari holds him up against the cage and eventually Scrappy drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mc Scrappy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jabari has hold of one of Scrappy's legs. Scrappy is fighting the takedown attempt but Jabari gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Jabari preventing the sweep. Scrappy has a closed guard, preventing Jabari from standing up. Scrappy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Scrappy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scrappy pulls Jabari in close to his closed guard and prevents Jabari from doing any damage or advancing position. Scrappy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jabari is one step ahead there. Scrappy trying to keep a closed guard but Jabari is proving a slippery customer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jabari has taken the fight to the clinch.
Scrappy jumps guard but Jabari stands there with Scrappy around his waist. Scrappy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zachariah Jabari showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Jabari with a jab. Jabari looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Scrappy tries to roll over but Jabari keeps him under control. Jabari stands up from half guard. Mc Scrappy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jabari feints and as Scrappy raises his hands in defense, Jabari changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Scrappy looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Scrappy is trying to keep Jabari in close.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jabari gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jabari is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Scrappy's half guard. Scrappy is controlling Jabari's trapped leg to prevent Jabari from advancing to side control. Scrappy works his way to full guard. Good work. Scrappy controlling the position. Jabari decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Scrappy, up you get! Scrappy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jabari counters with a nice uppercut. Scrappy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jabari was covering up waiting for the punch and Scrappy finishes the takedown easily into guard. Scrappy stops Jabari from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scrappy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Scrappy trying to control but Jabari is working from the bottom. Zachariah Jabari is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jabari is looking to stand up but Scrappy isn't so interested in that idea. Jabari keeping full guard, as Scrappy tries to pass. Mc Scrappy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jabari lands a nice shot to the body.
Jabari clinches up against the cage. Jabari is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Scrappy can't fight it off and eventually Jabari manages to take the fight to the floor. Scrappy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Scrappy is pulling down on Jabari's head to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scrappy is working an open guard so Jabari takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Jabari instigates a clinch. Jabari is trying to trip Scrappy. He has hold of a leg but Scrappy is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jabari persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Jabari has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Scrappy is proving hard to escape from. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scrappy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jabari is one step ahead there. Jabari wanted to stand there but Scrappy had control of the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jabari stopping the sweep attempt from Scrappy.
And that's the end of the fight! Zachariah Jabari comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jabari has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
