Edel closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Edel lands in his opponent's guard.
Edel drops back looking for a leg! Vestala is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vestala manages to kick Edel off! Edel jumps back into Vestala's guard.
Edel postures up.
Edel forces his way into half guard.

Vestala lands a big shot there that rocks Edel but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Vestala misses with a head kick.
Edel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Edel looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Edel jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Vestala is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Vestala and Edel has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
