Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernard Kisky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Drago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bernard Kisky!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Drago looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Kisky tries to clinch up.
Kisky tries a head kick but it misses.

Nice takedown defense from Drago. No joy for Kisky on that attempt.
Kisky throws a hook but Drago avoids it easily.

and Kisky counters with a nice double leg into side control. Drago won't be happy with that.

Kisky wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Drago, who protects the arm well.

Kisky tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kisky has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kisky in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Kisky remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Kisky stands up and beckons Drago to his feet.
Kisky shoots for a double leg takedown but Drago sprawls well. He's pushed Kisky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ivan Drago has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bernard Kisky.

Kisky shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Drago as he avoids it easily.
Kisky tries to close the distance and clinch up but Drago swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Drago drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kisky pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kisky throws a series of punches but Drago avoids them all with ease.

Kisky closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kisky postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Drago really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Drago on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Drago tries to get out of the position.

Kisky tries to clinch up but Drago circles away and keeps his distance.

Drago wants to control but Kisky is having none of it.

Kisky is working for a guillotine from mount but Drago frees his head quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kisky feints and as Drago raises his hands in defense, Kisky changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kisky is looking to work some ground and pound but Drago has wrist control.
Drago will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Kisky looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Drago wants to hit a switch here but Kisky passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Drago there!

Drago is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kisky avoids the attempt from Drago to control.
Kisky is looking to work his way around to Drago's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Kisky lands with some strikes.

Kisky takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kisky is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Kisky wants to control the pace but Drago is squirming around nicely.
Drago tries to lock up and control but Kisky gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Drago is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Drago is trying desperately to improve position.

Kisky closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kisky wants to pass the guard but Drago is defending well.
Drago is refusing to be controlled, as Kisky sits in half guard.
Kisky has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Drago is defending against the submission attempts here by Kisky.

Bernard Kisky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Well, if Kisky is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kisky trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Despite being in the dominant position, Bernard Kisky just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Drago tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kisky tries to free his leg and advance position but Drago is retaining full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kisky is pushing down on Drago's leg trying to pass to half guard. Drago is fighting to maintain full guard but Kisky has managed to sneak the leg through.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bernard Kisky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Kisky winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
