Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tanaka Buri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Astro Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanaka Buri could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Astro Boy's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buri takes one on the button.
Buri shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boy but Boy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Boy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A head kick from Buri lands but Boy takes it in his stride.
Boy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Astro Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Buri got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boy has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Buri has managed to get both his arms back between Boy's legs - danger averted.

Boy is looking for a sweep. Buri is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Boy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Buri's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Buri's back!
Boy is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Boy gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Boy gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Boy apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Boy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Buri manages to avoid it.
Buri lands a head kick. Boy smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Boy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Buri is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Boy has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Buri is looking to defend but Boy has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Buri! Boy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Buri taps out and this one is all over!
