The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looks like Ngou Bapu Hunter has been cut.
Hunter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Van Der Zwet circles away quickly and effectively.

Van Der Zwet darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Van Der Zwet tries to stand but can't do so whilst Hunter controls his leg.
Van Der Zwet is trying to control. Hunter wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hunter keeping hold of Van Der Zwet's head, controlling as best he can.

Van Der Zwet thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hunter's head.

Van Der Zwet is looking for a kimura here.
Hunter is refusing to be controlled, as Van Der Zwet sits in half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Van Der Zwet is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hunter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Van Der Zwet jabs Hunter right on the nose. Hunter blinks but takes it well.
Hunter throws a head kick but Van Der Zwet moves out of range.
Hunter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Van Der Zwet is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Hunter hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
